Congratulations and welcome to the marketplace!

Now you might be wondering what's next. Here's a nutshell of what's next in your apprenticeship journey.

  1. You get matched with a mentor. You will be notified by email once this happens. Our team prioritizes matching you based on the desired skills you declared on your profile and the mentor demand. The industry is just a secondary basis.

  2. Once matched, reach out to the mentor within 24 hours of matching through the chat feature. Wait for the mentor's response. They have 48 business hours to respond to you. You are matched with one mentor at a time.

  3. Go through the screening process. This may include a trial task or an interview. It depends on what the mentor has in place and the process varies per mentor.

  4. If you agree to work together, the mentor will send you the apprenticeship contract through the chat platform. Sign it after you review it.

  5. Apprenticeship commences. All apprenticeship contracts are for 3 months.

  6. Weekly reviews will be required. You will be sent a reminder email to complete them weekly and this is for both parties. You will be asked to rate your mentor weekly depending on different categories.

  7. 7 days before the contract end date, you will be asked to do a final rating review for your mentor. This is required to release your apprenticeship certificate.

  8. After 3 months, the apprenticeship is completed and the apprenticeship certificate becomes available online after a week given that you both completed your final ratings.

After the apprenticeship ends, you have the choice to do another apprenticeship with a different mentor or take a break.

All matches are done by our Matching team so all you need to do is wait for a match to be made. Our usual timeline is within 2 weeks but if there is no demand within your niches, it may be longer since opportunities are mentor-based. Make sure that your profile is updated only with the niches you are interested in to avoid incorrect matches.

Keep in mind that all apprenticeships are unpaid and soliciting for a job/compensation or any form of incentive from mentors is considered a violation of our policy.
